PRESS RELEASE

With the official launch of DITRAP on 1 September 2026, the project has published its first press release, titled “Beyond antibiotics: DITRAP is investigating a new defence against ICU infections”. The four-year Horizon Europe project brings together five partners from Spain, Finland, the Netherlands and Belgium and has secured €8.9 million in funding to develop a novel strategy for preventing infections in intensive care units.

The press release presents the DITRAP consortium and its complementary expertise in biotechnology, clinical research, artificial intelligence, health economics and intensive care.
